Ok, so the "Radar" music video was leaked tonight. No one knows if it is the final version, but we will see hopefully by next week. Most fans liked the concept and the interesting storyline and that she looks hot. With that said, a lot of people are saying that she looks amazing, but they dont like the video. It works for me!!! I like that she is doing something different. I think that Britney wants to show that she has personality. Look at her when she sings "I surrender self-control". She looks gorgeous.

This "Radar" video is so similar to the "My Prerogative" video....Britney is gyrating on the bed, searching for something, etc. Well, it reminded ME of "My Prerogative".

Why is Britney Spears criticized more than Beyonce for similar onstage behavior?
Beyonce Knowles is a musician who can sing, produce and dance. She stays out of controversy as much as possible and has a stable marriage with rapper/entrepreneur Jay-Z.
On the other side, Britney Spears has had two divorces, two sons, and one hell of a breakdown after breaking with Kevin “K-Fed” Federline. She walked in public bathrooms barefoot, shaved her head, gave an awful performance at the VMA’s, was photographed numerous times without underwear, drove with her infant son in her lap, and now has topless photos from her “Gimme More” video, can’t hold a tune in a bucket, circulating the internet.
However, I’m not here to talk about their offstage life. Around the web and on Beyonce Examiner, fans said that Beyonce should not be judged for what she does on stage. If that is true, why is Britney Spears criticized and picketed against for her own onstage performances?
Parents groups despise Britney Spears and that’s fine. She is definitely not a role model for children, but while there was an uproar when she appeared to be naked in “Womanizer”, but very little has been said about Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams who also seemed to be nude in the video for “Cater 2 U”.

Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop" who once moonwalked above the music world, died Thursday as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

At the time of his death, Jackson was rehearsing hard for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13.

As word of his death spread, MTV switched its programming to play videos from Jackson's heyday. Radio stations began playing marathons of his hits. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

"No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow," Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend had sent him. "It's like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died."

The public first knew him as a boy in the late 1960s, when he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the singing group he formed with his four older brothers out of Gary, Ind. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There."

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his backward-gliding moonwalk, his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched singing, punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks, as was his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced "Thriller." "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. He united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie, and Jackson's death immediately evoked comparisons to that of Presley himself, who died at age 42 in 1977.

As years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He often wore a germ mask while traveling, kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions, and surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, a storybook playland filled with toys, rides and animals. The tabloids dubbed him "Wacko Jacko."

"It seemed to me that his internal essence was at war with the norms of the world. It's as if he was trying to defy gravity," said Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s. He called Jackson a "disciple of P.T. Barnum" and said the star appeared fragile at the time but was "much more cunning and shrewd about the industry than anyone knew."

Jackson caused a furor in 2002 when he playfully dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin while a throng of fans watched from below.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him, and of engaging in strange and inappropriate behavior with other children.

The case followed years of rumors about Jackson and young boys. In a TV documentary, he acknowledged sharing his bed with children, a practice he described as sweet and not at all sexual.

Despite the acquittal, the lurid allegations that came out in court took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary. He was 4 years old when he began singing with his brothers Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito in the Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The album "Thriller" alone mixed the dark, serpentine bass and drums and synthesizer approach of "Billie Jean," the grinding Eddie Van Halen solo on "Beat It," and the hiccups and falsettos on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

The peak may have come in 1983, when Motown celebrated its 25th anniversary with an all-star televised concert and Jackson moonwalked off with the show, joining his brothers for a medley of old hits and then leaving them behind with a pointing, crouching, high-kicking, splay-footed, crotch-grabbing run through "Billie Jean."

The audience stood and roared. Jackson raised his fist.

By then he had cemented his place in pop culture. He got the plum Scarecrow role in the 1978 movie musical "The Wiz," a pop-RB version of "The Wizard of Oz," that starred Diana Ross as Dorothy.

During production of a 1984 Pepsi commercial, Jackson's scalp sustains burns when an explosion sets his hair on fire.

He had strong follow-up albums with 1987's "Bad" and 1991's "Dangerous," but his career began to collapse in 1993 after he was accused of molesting a boy who often stayed at his home. The singer denied any wrongdoing, reached a settlement with the boy's family, reported to be $20 million, and criminal charges were never filed.

Jackson's expressed anger over the allegations on the 1995 album "HIStory," which sold more than 2.4 million copies, but by then, the popularity of Jackson's music was clearly waning, even as public fascination with his increasingly erratic behavior was growing.

Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, and they divorced in 1996. Later that year, Jackson married Deborah Rowe, a former nurse for his dermatologist. They had two children together: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. Rowe filed for divorce in 1999.

Cardiac arrest is an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

Jackson's 13 No. 1 one hits on the Billboard charts put him behind only Presley, the Beatles and Mariah Carey, Werde said.

"He was on the eve of potentially redeeming his career a little bit," he said. "People might have started to think of him again in a different light.

Check out this awesome review By Providence Journal Arts Writer Rick Massimo
LEDYARD, Conn. - The last time I saw Britney Spears, five years ago at what is now the Dunk, in Providence, she was trying to make a show out of a succession of production numbers while still fitting within the visual and thematic outlines of an arena rock show, all with an emphasis on building a monument to her own self-esteem. It was a muddled mush that looked, sounded and felt fake.
On Saturday night, Spears brought her Circus Tour into the Arena at the Mohegan Sun Casino for the first of two performances, and this time around shes gone with pure spectacle. And if you let go of the expectation of the paradigm of a rock show - and if you dont expect the singer to actually sing very much - it was indeed a spectacular succession of sensations. It was still fake, but the inspired show-biz kind, not the smarmy kind.
Performing in the round, with the band divided among several pits only a few feet from the audience members who stood on the floor, the show was about Spears, her roughly dozen backup dancers and the acrobats she flew in for the songs and for in-between bits to cover costume changes.
The effect was at times like watching a live video, at times one of those ABC variety shows from the 1970s (although a lot more technically advanced and a lot more risqué in certain spots). Indeed, there was no video screen providing closeups of Spears or anyone else - there was more than enough to look at even in the cheap seats.
The circus motif is a natural for this kind of spectacular, and it worked from the beginning, with Spears descending from the ceiling for the opening cavorting with a magician for Ooh Ooh Baby and using her dancers for a game of Whack-a-Mole during the ridiculous (and thats not necessarily a bad thing) If You Seek Amy.
The big-top theme disappeared about halfway through the 90-minute show, but the visuals remained - Spears sitting in the crook of a giant umbrella for the Bollywood style of Me Against the Music, levitating (with the help of some acrobats) from the infamous couch during Touch of My Hand.
This is Spearss first tour since that jaunt five years ago, and as such there were more songs from 2007s Blackout record than last years Circus (including Hot as ice and Freakshow), but those two records dominated the set list, with a few nods to older hits such as the piano ballad a hard-charging with its irresistible string and vocal hook, and the nearly ancient Baby One More Time. Each of her recent records is good for at least a couple of tuneful dance-floor bangers, and the hard electro shuffle of and the swinging were no exception.
Other than the self-pitying Piece of Me and Do Something, there wasnt a lot of autobiography in the show, and Spears barely spoke to the audience. This was probably to the good - she had something to prove, and putting on a breathless, spirited, complex show was the best way to do it.
There was no attempt at a narrative, and there didnt need to be.

BEVERLY HILLS — His vast red and gilded throne seats no one, his Rolls-Royce stretch limo is empty and the crystal white glove he wore to perform Billie Jean is enclosed in a glass case.
But pop star Michael Jacksons eccentric taste, his glittering career and his Peter Pan alter ego come alive in a museum-style exhibit of some 1,400 lots that opened to the public on Tuesday before a record-setting auction next week.
Obviously, it is a sad time to be a Michael Jackson fan, said visitor Abby Marie, who has followed Jackson since his child star days with The Jackson 5. But to be here is like being in heaven.
I hope one person buys it all and puts it in a museum, she added.
was the word uttered by many visitors touring the 30,000 square-foot (2,787 sq meter) exhibit of sequined costumes, portraits of the self-styled King of Pop, statues and pictures of Peter Pan, and toys from Jacksons sold and shuttered Neverland Ranch in California,
Taking center stage is Jackson himself on a vast video screen showing footage of the singer in concert extravaganzas at the height of his fame in the 1980s.
I regret that I never saw him live. It is mesmerizing, said Cindy Hammond from Los Angeles. It is worth the $20 entrance fee just to hear and see those concerts.
Jackson, now 50, also figures prominently in artifacts featuring Disney characters, many of them created by Disney artists for the singer when he was one of the worlds biggest pop acts.
In one large Pinocchio diorama, a figurine of Jackson doing his signature moon walk dance comes to life at the push of a button.
The vast collection from Neverland, authorized for auction by Jackson himself, goes under the hammer April 22-25 in Beverly Hills.
The 2,800-acre (1,133-hectare) theme-park style ranch, where Jackson held sleepovers with two young boys who later accused him of molestation, was sold last year after the singer deserted it following his acquittal in a 2005 child sex abuse trial.
Auctioneer Darren Julien said he expected items such as the gilded Neverland gates and Jacksons Billie Jean single glove to fetch 10 times their estimated price of $30,000 and $15,000 respectively.
Neverland is part of pop history now. We have people flying in from around the world to bid. There are many prominent celebrities interested in collecting Michael Jackson, Julien said.
Julien said he was trying to reach an amicable agreement over unspecified items that Jackson has said he wants back despite the singers spokesman signing a contract for the auction last year.
A Los Angeles judge gave Juliens Auction House the go-ahead for the sale earlier this month. Julien has said he expects the auction to fetch more than $10 million.
Jackson, a virtual recluse who has faced financial difficulties since the 2005 trial, announced a run of 50 comeback concerts in London from July 2009 to February 2010 that sold out last month.
[You, too, could wear one glove — just think, itd be perfect for dancing around the living room to Billie Jean.

Star Image: Britney Spears

1997: Britney was briefly in an all girl pop band named 'Innosense' she was then signed to Jive records. And eventually became the opening performer for N'sync and the Backstreet boys. - We see Britney spears as a teenager starting her career, we can tell she is quite young from the pop groups name, and that she was trying to come across as an innocent teen.

1998: In October Britney released 'Baby One More Time' which topped the charts for two weeks in 1999. Gillian G. Gaar, author of She's a Rebel: The History of Women in Rock Roll (2002), documented that "eyebrows were raised over the schoolgirl-in-heat persona Spears projected in her [music video for ...Baby One More Time], along with an increasingly revealing series of stage outfits". Here we see that Britney was trying to come across as innocent but later after the video was released people saw through the video and saw that it was a bit sexual orientated. But in the video she is portraying a high school girl in uniform.

2000: In May, the album 'Oops I did it again' was released. In this same year Britney launched her first tour the 'oops I did it again' tour. As part of her performance, she ripped off a black suit to reveal a provocative nude-coloured and crystal-adorned outfit that generated much controversy. Here we see Britney coming out of her shell a little a bit. The performance showed us that she doesn't want people to think of her as a young teenager anymore. The single 'Stronger' was also on featured on this album; the song shows a whole new Britney Spears.

2001 - 2002: In November 2001, the album 'Britney' was released. She assumed some creative control for the album because she co-wrote five of the songs. The album's success made her the only female artist in music history to have her first three albums debut at number one. 'I'm a slave 4 u' was probably the most provocative of all the songs on the album, on the video she was dancing with a lot of half dressed people that were stroking and touching her body. In early 2002 Justin Timberlake and Britney ended their 4 year relationship and his song and video 'Cry me a river' was supposed to have been aimed at Britney, which shows Britney being unfaithful. Spears had her first starring role in the film 'Crossroads' (2002). The film was received poorly. At her this MTV VMA's she performed 'I'm a slave 4 u she used caged animals as props and danced with a large albino python draped over her shoulders. Animal-rights organization PETA claimed that the animals featured in the performance were mistreated. Here we see Britney evolving into a woman; this is shown through her performance in the video to 'Im a slave 4 u and also her dealing with her relationship problems.

2003: Spears released her fourth album 'In the Zone' in November 2003. Spears co-wrote eight of the album's thirteen songs and co-produced several pieces of her material for the first time. The Guardian praised the album's melodies and her effort, giving it 4 out of 5 stars: "Unlike previous Britney albums, In the Zone has no filler and no shoddy cover versions, just 57 varieties of blue-chip hit-factory pop. There is southern hip-hop, deep house, Neptunes-style RB, the ubiquitous Diwali beat and, most importantly, oodles of Madonna." At a performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, she appeared with Christina Aguilera performing the song "Like a Virgin", and was later joined by American pop singer Madonna. And this is when Britney and Madonna kissed on staged, the incident was highly publicised. We see here that Britney is reaching her womanhood, because we see how she's becoming more independant with the albums as the years go by and that people are noticing this change. The only downfall of this year was the kissing of Madonna on-stage because people just saw it as a publicity stunt.

2004 - 2005: Spears married childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander on January 3, 2004, at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The marriage lasted 55 hours. Months after her Las Vegas marriage, Spears embarked on The Onyx Hotel Tour, which was cancelled in June after Spears injured her knee during the filming of the video for the single 'Outrageous'. In July 2004, Spears announced her engagement to Kevin Federline, three months after they met. On the night of September 18, Spears married Federline in a surprise, non-denominational ceremony at a residence in Studio City, California, filing legal papers on October 6. After the marriage, Spears announced via her website that she would be taking another career break to start a family. She gave birth to her first child, Sean Preston Federline, nearly one year later, on September 14, 2005. In November 2005 Spears released 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative', which features all of Spears's singles with the exception of "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart". It also featured three previously unreleased songs, 'My perogative', 'Do somethin' and 'I've just begun (having my fun). In November 2005, Spears released her first remix album, B In The Mix: The Remixes. I think this is where we begin to see Britney acting as a woman, because of the family plans and the greatest hits being released. Even though she might be acting like a woman there is still some of that teen left inside Britney. And this is what shows us that she's her own person and does what she wants. 'My Perogative' is the song that I think represents this.

2006 2007: Spears announced her second pregnancy in May 2006. Spears's aunt Sandra Bridges Covington, with whom she had been very close, died of ovarian cancer on January 21, 2007. Spears then stayed in an off-shore drug rehabilitation facility in Antigua for less than 24 hours on February 16. The following night at a hair salon in Tarzana, California she shaved her head with electric clippers. A few days later, she admitted herself to another treatment facility in Malibu, California. While leaving the facility briefly, she quickly returned on February 22. The previous day, Kevin Federline had requested an emergency hearing regarding the custody of their children but then his attorney announced that Federline asked to cancel the court appearance. Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for both physical and legal custody of their two children, with visitation rights for Federline, their divorce was finalized in July. Throughout 2007, Spears's behaviour received heightened media attention, including attacking a paparazzi vehicle with an umbrella. In March 2007, Leonard Pitts, Jr. wrote that in the aftermath of Spears's personal struggles that have become widely publicized, Spears had been reduced to an abstract idea as opposed to being regarded as a real person. "The abstraction is not surprising: Whatever media touch, they objectify... What must it be like to have your marriage and divorce, your relationship with your parents and kids... dissected by millions of strangers who think they know you? The release of Spears's fifth album, Blackout, was rescheduled to October 30, 2007 rather than November 13, 2007 due to online leaks. Blackout's lead single, "Gimme More" leaked on the internet on August 30. Spears's highly anticipated performance of "Gimme More" at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards was panned. The BBC stated that "her performance would go down in the history books as being one of the worst to grace the MTV Awards", and The Times noted that "Spears was out of synch as she lip-synched and at times just stopped singing altogether". Despite the criticism on her performance, the single has achieved worldwide success. The second single, "Piece of Me", was certified platinum in the U.S. This seems to be Britney's worst year as she just goes out of control and it is obvious that the media did this to her, obviously she has been watched over ever since 1997. We see her losing control and going through plenty of different rehab clinics. The whole family situation crumbling at her feet.

2008 - Present: On the evening of January 3, 2008, after not sleeping for over four days, Spears refused to relinquish custody of her children to Federline's representatives. In response, police were called to Spears's home. On September 7, 2008, Spears opened the MTV Video Music Awards for the third time. Although having not performed, a skit with Jonah Hill was pre-taped, as well as an introduction speech to the official opening of the show. Spears won Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video Of The Year for "Piece of Me". On September 15, Jive released a statement announcing the title of her sixth studio album, Circus as well as the first single, "Womanizer". The single was released to radio stations on September 26, and the release date for the album was December 2, Spears's 27th birthday. In February 2009, Spears achieved further success in solidifying her comeback by having the second single of off her comeback album, "Circus" rise to number one on the Top 40 Radio Chart, making it the first time Spears has achieved back-to-back number one hits on the Top 40 Chart along with her comeback single, "Womanizer". I think this year for Spears was quite bad but it seems now she is trying to get back on top, we see this through the 2 comeback albums she has just released and how she hasn't had any rehab visits or anything like that in a while. This is how Britney Spears star image has changed over the years, from innocent teenager, to an independant woman.

The video opens with some extra footage, things like the advertisement outside the arena and people inside waiting in line, but after the first minute or so it gets into the concert itself and the quality is surprisingly good considering the thousands of screaming fans who were there.
It shows clips from and Piece of Me, then cuts to fan reactions after the show.
If the short clips arent enough to satisfy you, heres a full-length video clip of Britney Spears performing although the quality isnt quite as strong.

Britney Spears Surprises Kids At Miami Hospital
Pop star Britney Spears flew into Miami today via private jet and landed in the hospitalbut its not what you think.
Spears stopped by Miami Childrens Hospital for a surprise visit with sick kids and to donate $100,000 to the hospitals Big Apple Circus Clown Care, a community outreach program that brings the joys of the circus to hospitalized children at 19 leading pediatric facilities across the United States.
Pediatric radiologist Ricardo Restrepo and Lee Schrager, Director of Media for Southern Wine and Spirits America, arranged for the singer to visit the hospital, saying the circus theme of her tour was a natural tie in for a hospital with clowns.
Spears was with her dad, Jamie, who has been keeping her on a literal tight rope since the pop tart kicked off her Circus tour in New Orleans last week. Although papa Spears tried to prevent us from snapping any shots, we managed to snag one of Brit, who looked surprisingly fresh, dewy and poised, if not a little robotic.
The singer posed for photos with kids, barely spoke beyond Say cheese, and was in and out in literally ten minutes. But thats OK shes busy. Tonight, Brit brings her Circus show to the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Sources tell RadarOnline.com that Britneys mom Lynne and baby sister Jamie Lynn flew a separate jet into Miami to join her tonight. Those hoping Brit will go batty in Miami tonight should look elsewhere for train wreck material (such as the Seminole Hard Rock where Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are trashing a party)-as it is clear her dad has her under serious surveillance.

American Idol crammed eight performances into the Wild Card show last night, and at the end of the hour Jasmine Murray and Megan Corkrey were announced as finalists. One minute after the episodes official end time, the judges revealed that both Matt Giraud and Anoop Desai would be joining them good news for the dueling pianist and North Carolina college student, bad news for anyone watching the show on a DVR.
So the big twist was a Top 13 instead of a Top 12 not so shocking. What was truly astonishing was Simon Cowells note during Anoops judging: Not the best singer were going to hear, but people like you, and thats important. One of the jobs weve got to do tonight, weve got to cast the next stage so we dont just put the boring singers through, weve got to put some personalities through, too. How many times have we heard Cowell drone s a singing competition throughout the past seven seasons, insisting that hopefuls shouldnt get extra points for likability or looks? Perhaps his tune changed after past Idols starting falling off the charts and getting dropped from their labels. Do people still Taylor Hicks? Cowell certainly doesnt seem to think so. When he told Giraud he was seeing strains of the Soul Patrol leader in his performance, the audience booed and Cowell felt he made his point.
Also expected: a Tatiana Del Toro meltdown.

The Circus show packs 17 song segments and every under-the-big-top cliche except Siegfried Roys white tigers into a crowd-pleasing hour and 45 minutes. A comeback, certainly, and a solid one at that. But all the sex, fire and stomp-and-slither choreography cant disguise the fact that the production needs a bigger, purely musical core (a few more songs from the current album would have helped) - and some spontaneity. It wasnt until Spears finally called out Thank you, New Orleans after finishing her Womanizer encore that the crowd got a glimpse into the heart of their homegirl from Kentwood.

welcome to Britneys Circus, a big, huge, loud, funny, nonsensical three-ring affair that includes everything under the big top — even an actual big top. Its truly a sight to behold the biggest show under one roof.

She danced like she hasnt danced in a very long time. And, one of the best parts of the evening was that Spears seemed to be clear-headed. She did not appear heavily-sedated or lethargic at all. She was on point!
There is something about Britney that makes her truly special. She has that indescribable factor. People are always rooting for her, even when she was at her lowest lows. We genuinely want to see her succeed! Weve seen her grow up in front of our eyes, and we love her - shortcomings and all. She may not be perfect, but thats okay. Shes our Britney.
And shes back, bitches!

Of course, some interest may stem from the sideshow that has been her personal life. On Wednesday, her father, Jamie, was granted an extension on a restraining order against his daughter's ex-manager Sam Lutfi. (Jamie holds indefinite legal control over her life following her two forced hospitalizations in January 2008.)

In a hearing on Monday, Jamie testified that prior to his stepping in, Britney's life "was pretty well a disaster. She had nothing going on, just mostly [being] in the tabloids. [But now] weight-wise she's eating properly, she's very stable, making her meetings, taking care of her babies [Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2], doing things she's supposed to do," he said.

Jamie also testified that during her breakdown, Britney was "kind of wild" and "just very messed up."

Britney's current manager, Larry Rudolph, told PEOPLE in November that dancing and singing is what helped the singer get her life back on track. "She identifies with her career in a lot of ways and getting her career back is a great therapeutic thing for her," he explained.

Seconds the pal, "She's better when she puts her energy into that."

Still, legal experts say her father could remain in control for months or even years. She'll only regain her independence once she proves to the court backed by doctors' opinions that she can handle her own affairs.

The Parents Television Council is warning American radio stations not to broadcast Britney Spears new single If U Seek Amy, saying it would violate the broadcast indecency law, if aired between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The Council is saying the phrase title when said out loud quickly produces the sound of spelling the F*CK word followed by Amy that would be , So making F C-K Me (As If we didnt know it alreadyThere is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and its certainly not about a girl named Amy, - told Parent Television Council president to Billboard.s one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but its an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly-owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience, he added.
WFLZ radio station told Billboard that the version theyre playing from the song is a censored one in which If U Seek Amy is replaced by If U SEE Amy, leaving the track meaningless, but playable by radio stations.
According to Billboard, 6 Top 40 Radio stations have in its rotation this week, the Airplay is already enough to place the song on The Pop 100, Adding that the song has already sold 107,000 digital copies in the U.S., and a #86 peak on The Hot 100 even not being released as a single yet.

Panic For Britney Spears! - FameCrawler

were famous. Our very own Sassy Smith and her story on Nadya Sulemans alleged obsession with Angelina Jolie was plastered all over NBC Dateline last night. You can tell your friends you know us.
The fact that NBC was able to narrow it down is pretty impressive seeing as we have more stories about Suleman than on Britney and Obama combined -- although a story on Britney and Obama combined would be a sure hit. We have so many Octuplet posts that we decided to put them all in one place for your convience. Were famous, but we havent forgotten you.

Daddy Lohan posted this statement on his blog:
Well here you have it. My final blog. And for those of you who are doubters or knockers, let me say that I never took a penny for my blog or anything I ever did for any of my children. I did what I did, out of love and concern, regardless of any of your opinions. I did it to help them, advance their careers and give them hope. I taught them [His kids] that anything is possible if you really want it enough, and that when your heart is in the right place, God will make it all happen!
And although I have full confidence in Jonathan Jaxson (Who is the mastermind behind some of the best stories/blogs out there.), I have to say that when it comes to my innocent children, who are at risk and have nothing to do with the situation at hand, I have to respect their request. (ie I was issued a cease and desist.)
Before I go, however, I must say that I received a text message from a very close and dear friend of Lindsays who I trust and admire. The text said, between you and me you are doing the right thing. From what I hear, from Lindsays nearest and dearest friends, Lindsay is worse off than ever since she she has been with Sam. I told Dina that Lindsay needs you back in her life, and I think you know that I was the one who really helped Linds get into rehab.
Without divulging this persons identity, let me say that I know this person and I trust him/her very much. As a matter of fact, I spent time with him/her and wish that he/she was still part of Lindsays life.
For the record, when it comes to sexual preference, I am not biased. What matters most is the substance of an individual rather than their preference. It is the love and intent behind the relationship that matters. Something I can not give much credence to when it comes to Samantha. Just look at Samanthas tax returns before she Lindsay, and then after! Look at Lindsays career before Samantha and after! Look at all the things Lindsay accomplished and had going for her before Samantha and after. And finally, consider how Lindsay spent every holiday with her family before she met Samantha and then after. Would Lindsay ever leave her little sister in LA with Jenni, and leave with Samantha like she recently did when she went to Boston?! NEVER!
I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the old Lindsay with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha! Cant you all see this? Am I speaking to stone walls? (No Michael, youre speaking to padded walls) All I ask that you put your selves in my shoes and HONESTLY consider what you would do.
As I said, this is my final blog, and I hope what I have said and expressed to you and Lindsay, have a positive effect on your lives.
God Bless you ALL, be well and thank you for your input. Good, bad, positive, or negative, I have learned a lot from all of you.
Be Blessed!!!.

Britney seems to be setting all kinds of trends in the fashion world lately! Besides inspiring the sparkle trend that lit up Balenciaga and Versace's spring collections, she is also bringing "Womanizer's" secretary look back onto the scene.

In the Armani Privé spring 2009 couture fashion show which debuted on the Paris runways on January 26, 2009, the first looks gracing the catwalk had an uncanny resemblance to the secretary outfit Britney wore in the music video for "Womanizer."

From the beaded necklace to the cuts and fabric choices, you can not deny the Britney factor. And the wigs... coincidental? No way.

New York’s top radio station, Z100, is dying to play Britney Spears’ newest single, “If U Seek Amy.”
But first her label is going to wash the song out with soap.
“We plan to play an edited, super-clean version,” says Tom Poleman, senior vice president of programming for Clear Channel, parent of WHTZ (100.3 FM). “We’re just waiting for a good edit.”
“Amy,” the third single from Spears’ hit comeback CD “Circus,” has kicked up a firestorm over the title phrase, which when spoken rapidly spells out a crude sexual phrase.
While popular music has a long history of double entendre, this is more like a single entendre, since the phrase in the song seems to have no other meaning.
Jive Records, Spears’ label, has promised a re-edited version of the song that cleans up the offending line, said Sharon Dastur, Z100 program director. “The record label will be providing the edit,” said Dastur. “Theyve been letting us preview some potential options to make sure its appropriate.
“Last I heard, they were going to have Britney go back into the studio to re-record some tracks for it.”
The song caused some buzz when “Circus” was released, but it remained limited while two other songs were promoted as singles on the radio.
The controversy rekindled when the watchdog Parents Television Council (PTC) threatened to file indecency complaints with the Federal Communications Commission against any station that played “Amy.”
Clear Channel, which laid off 9% of its workforce this week, is hardly in the mood to finance an FCC fight right now.
Clear Channel CEO John Hogan also pledged before Congress several years ago, in the wake of the Janet Jackson scandal, to institute a “zero tolerance” policy on broadcast indecency.
Neither Spears’ camp nor Jive has issued any public comment. But record companies are rarely unhappy about anything that draws attention to their material, and Spears has thrived for years on sex controversies, personal and professional.
The Jive Web site currently features a video in which Spears gyrates on the bench in a sauna, without the apparent hindrance of clothing.
